I am Carol Cieri, an Italian expat currently pursuing a Master's degree in Security Studies at Georgetown University. My academic interest is Counterterrorism, with a focus on the Israeli-Arab conflict. I am open to new experiences and opportunities, as I am eager to constantly learn and improve myself.

I have a B.A. in Government from IDC Herzliya, awarded in July 2018.

Blurbs and Thoughts is a project that began in October 2018 with the aim of providing my own outlook to the current world. It encompasses both my daily experiences in the US, and a commentary on the most pressing items on the news cycle. As an international student, in Israel and now in the United States, I try to make sense of today's reality through my own eyes, as I see it. Therefore, sometimes I will do my best to bring some positivity to balance the constant outpouring of negative news. Other times, I will complain about what upsets me about the current state of affairs. Life has ups and downs, and so will this blog.
